METHODS OF STUDY
 
Each apprenticeship is taught via blended learning, meaning you can continue working while you learn.  You'll learn through a mixture of interactive webinars, learncasts, recorded lectures, VR, e-learning and face-to-face teaching.

DENTAL TECHNICIAN

36 Months | Part-Time | Level 5 

This Higher Apprenticeship is designed for those already working in the dental technology industry.  The course covers the fundamentals of oral anatomy and physiology in relation to dental appliance design

We offer a flexible programme benefiting from the use of innovative learning technologies.  As an apprentice, you will gain a Level 5 qualification (equivalent to a foundation degree).    

Upon completion of this programme, apprentices can apply to register with the GDC as a dental technician.




PLACE IMPLANTS
Our programmes provide advanced practical training, during which you will get to place implants and observe placements.
LIFELONG LEARNING
By enrolling on one of our programmes, you'll gain access to learning before, during and after your studies, allowing you to constantly develop.
LEADING UNIVERSITIES 
Each programme is provided in partnership with a leading University - awarding you either 30 or 120 academic credits.
HEALTH PHARMACY SERVICES

18 Months | Part-Time | Level 3

This apprenticeship will equip you with the tools required to work with a registered pharmacist, helping to provide medicines to patients safely and correctly.

This is a flexible programme, meaning that you can continue working while you learn. Using our innovative learning solutions, we provide the ease of learning at your own pace and a first class education experience.

Improving the skills of new and existing team members has a real impact on organisational performance, value and confidence in handling any situation.




DENTAL PRACTICE MANAGEMENT

12 Months | Part-Time | Level 4

This qualification is designed for new and aspiring department heads, regional team leaders and other middle managers. While studying with us our students really get to grips with the role, gain comprehensive business knowledge and develop the skills needed to lead at this level.

Each unit is typically offered twice a year, with the option to join the programme at any point (for example: participants could start studying with ‘Managing Resources’, completing their programme with ‘Budgetary Planning and Control’).

DENTAL NURSING

18 Months | Part-Time | Level 3

Our Apprenticeship in Dental Nursing is designed to support individuals to meet the professional standard for people working as a trainee Dental Nurse within the industry.  

The programme reflects all aspects of clinical responsibilities and duties of a dental nurse's role, providing the apprentice with the relevant qualification to register with the General Dental Council.

Apprentices (and their Dental Practice) are supported before, during and after completion of the course.

This programme will give you the skills and confidence to support qualified mental health practitioners.  You will work alongside these professionals in supporting people with mental health problems and learning disabilities, becoming an essential part of the team.

By training to become an assistant practitioner in this area, you will work closely with healthcare professionals who are directly accountable for certain tasks; sometimes working independently. You will also have further opportunity after you complete your training to continue studying and become a specialist in your role.




There are 850,000 people with dementia in the UK, and the numbers are growing year on year.  This programme will enhance your knowledge and understanding of dementia care, enabling you to provide effective support to your colleagues and the patients you work with.
